OUR HISTORY

The history of Vicens Maquinària Agrícola S.A. begins with the figure of Pere Vicens Penella, "Agramunti" by birth, with extensive experience and knowledge in the primary sector.

The beginnings were difficult, but over time, the business volume increased, which led to the company relocating in 1985 to the area in front of the N – II highway, km 483 in Fondarella.

1992
Growth

In 2007, the company expanded with the opening of Térmens, where the business focus was placed on the refurbishment and reuse of John Deere spare parts.

2013

Also in 2013, the Valls center was added, and in 2014, the Vilafranca del Penedès center was established, consolidating Vicens Maquinària Agrícola's presence throughout the Priorat area.

2014

At Vicens Maquinària Agrícola, we are at the forefront of the technological revolution in agriculture, applying innovations that improve the productivity, efficiency, and sustainability of the sector.

1983
Origins

At the age of 52, he agreed together with John Deere Ibérica S.A., the Spanish subsidiary of the North American multinational Deere & Company, the concession for the sale and repair of John Deere agricultural machinery.

The growth of Vicens Maquinària Agrícola S.A. was led by the second generation, with Pere Vicens Capdevila and Francesc Baldomà Baldomà. In 1992, the company acquired the center located in Manresa.

2007

Vicens Maquinària Agrícola was established in Torres de Segre in 2013, allowing it to expand its coverage in a significant part of the Lleida province, which is important for fruit, olive, and almond products.

The Amposta center was incorporated in 2014, establishing a new area of influence across the Ebro Delta, further strengthening the company's presence in this key region.
